Every year since 2001, the SSEC Board has provided financial support for your scholars’ participation in our annual conference. The Early Career Scholars Award waives the conference registration fee and offers partial reimbursement for travel expenses. Dozens of Early Career Scholars – advanced doctoral students and pre-tenure faculty – have benefited from the opportunity to present conference papers, receive feedback from senior scholars, and to re-work their papers for publication in our annual conference book published as part of the Social Science Education Consortium Book Series (Information Age Publishing) https://www.infoagepub.com/series/Social-Science-Education-Consortium-Book-Series.
